I'm a creature of habit it seems

I tried a number of different ideas for my blog and guess what, I'm back to where I started - well almost. Some things are just meant to be I think.

It's not that I don't like change, it's just that no matter how many variations I tried this is the one that works the best.

I also don't know why the comments function came and went at will either, some times it was there, some times it wasn't. Frustrating as anything and not worth my time and energy to work out why it was malfunctioning with the other format.

Full circle, just like life really. Some times we go round and end up back where we started. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing as long as we learn some lessons along the way and we improve on the first attempt we made. No point making the same mistakes and doing the same dumb stuff over.

My weekend is almost over and I want to put in a request for another day or two.
How many hours of your life do you think is spent washing, cooking and cleaning? I feel like that's all I've done all weekend. I swear that dirty clothes and dishes reproduce in this house, much like rabbits they multiply.

Teenage boys have an ability to make them magically appear as well, even more so then they could as toddlers. Middle son has been out all weekend, eldest no longer lives at home and yet you would think that 10 people live in this house.

Blogger is playing funny games with me today and paragraphs keep disappearing, what's that all about?

Anyway I must be off, eldest and his girlfriend are coming for tea, so more cooking to be done. Yet I am one of the privileged few who has a sensational cook for a husband, so can hand over a fair share of the cooking to him a lot of the time.

Hope you're having a sensational weekend.

Cheers, Fi

  1. I was the same with my blog. I tried all different themes but kept coming back to the original. In the end, I opted to tinker with the background, etc, and leave it at that.

  2. I do this in my classroom all the time. I think I have a great idea that is going to work, then I wind up back where I started. You are right, some things are just meant to be. Why fix what isn't broken?
