A little behind schedule

I hate when I can't figure out how something works - arggh! My website is all ready to go, my free e-book for download as part of my new website is also ready to go. Written, edited - all complete.

It's the widget (love that word) to enable you to download the free e-book which I'm struggling with. That and the fact that my social life and family time took priority over the weekend.

The things we fear...

Why is it the things we want the most are also the things we avoid the most often. Is it fear of actually getting what we want or fear of failing and not getting what we want.

My website is almost ready to go, the domain is linked, the business cards are on order, I'm excited by the design and yet my finger isn't quite ready to hit the publish button.

We all need to have dreams...

So I've just finished reading an e-book which cost more than any e-book I've previously purchased and which didn't meet any of my normal criteria for personal reading choices. I read it in two days and limited my computer time to do so.

We all have dreams and this book is written by a woman who is living what I would call a dream life, or as close to it as you can get in my mind. I found her blog by chance and was so enthralled by her story that I bought her book. As you do.

To share or not to share...

Once upon a time I couldn’t sleep for thinking about all the blog posts and Facebook comments I should be writing (no honestly, my life has never been quite that empty)

However, at one time this blog used to be my sounding board where I spoke about my dreams, voiced my frustrations with things that I thought were unfair and of course wrote about everything in between.

Change is in the wind...

I'm sure that nobody has come back to see whether we launched our project successfully (except my mother) but just in case you've been waiting all week to hear then let me say, yes it went live on time, no major hassles and under budget. Sensational effort I would say.

I've never been involved in a project of this size and budget and for the length of time we've been on it. Two years of hard work, yet we launched on time, nothing caved and after the exhilaration there's an amazing sense of deflation. It's like okay, what's next?
